VCA Animal Hospitals Part Time Boarding Attendant in South Weymouth, Massachusetts

Are you ready to start or enhance your skills and get more involved in the medical care of patients? Wouldn’t you rather be learning about veterinary medicine by being immersed in advanced medical care than finding struggling to gain experience? If you have at least 1 year of experience in customer service and/or working with animals, you may be ready to step up to our advanced medical care hospital.

You will be supporting our team by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our boarding guests. In addition, you will help feed and provide proper husbandry for dogs and cats, administer medications, provide play time and socialization and updates to clients during their pets stay.

Essential skills for the boarding attendant include: knowledge of proper husbandry and handling techniques of dogs and cate.

Candidates for this position must have be organized, flexible, able to work independently in addition to being a team player.

Must have a flexible schedule and be available to work weekends and some holidays and be at least 18 years of age

Compensation: $17.25 - 18.50 / hour

pay dependent on experience and skill set
