As one of only three emergency veterinary hospitals within Sacramento, we have a high caseload of seriously ill and critically injured patients, both primary and referral cases. In addition to the facility, you will appreciate our skilled support staff who help make this such a great place to work.

Sacramento is one of the most diverse cities in the country. Located between San Francisco and Lake Tahoe, the city of Sacramento is experiencing rapid growth and is ideally located for weekend gateways. People who visit tend to stay here once they experience Sacramento’s temperate winter climate, high quality of life, art and cultural offerings, unique restaurants and shops.

At VCA we are committed to equity, inclusion, and diversity, and strive to be a place where a talented mix of people want to come, stay, and do their best work.
