VCA Creekside Animal Hospital is hiring an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician (or LVMT eligible) with a passion for leadership to join our team as Technician Supervisor!
About Us
We are a 4-doctor veterinary practice in Murfreesboro, providing high quality care for dogs, cats, and exotic species. Our services include Primary Care, Dentistry, and Surgery. We have a great team that works well together!
We are open Monday through Friday 7:30am - 5:30am, Saturdays 7:30am - 11:30am, closed Sundays.

About the Role
The Technician Supervisor will be responsible for leading and developing our team of Technicians and Assistants while assisting in patient care and operational duties. You will have the support of hospital and field leadership in this role. Technical duties include:
Client education and communication
Compassionate patient care for a variety of species
Patient assessment
Lab sample collection and processing
Venipuncture and catheter placement
Pharmacy and medication administration
Diagnostic imaging
Surgical preparation and assisting
Dentistry procedures
Anesthesia monitoring
Medical recordkeeping
Supervisory duties will include:
Team training, development, and support
Maintaining flow of the hospital, including appointments and surgery
Work with hospital leadership to keep patient care team current on standard operating procedures
Scheduling patient care team
Manage inventory, maintain instruments and equipment

Qualifications
Two or more years experience as a Veterinary Technician
Tennessee Veterinary Technician license (LVMT) strongly preferred
Leadership experience, preferably in a veterinary environment
Compensation starts in the $20's per hour for Licensed Veterinary Technician candidates, depending on relevant education, credentials and experience.
