VCA Animal Hospitals Surgery Veterinary Technician in Los Angeles, California
At VCA Animal Specialty Group, Los Angeles , we are excited to add to our growing Neurology Team!
With three Surgeons, three Surgery Residents, and a Surgery Intern, we are looking for talented and skilled technicians with their RVT or VTS, in Surgery. For RVTs looking to specialized in Surgery, our doctors are ready to support your career growth.

Our board-certified specialists, leading ER veterinarians, advanced technicians, and compassionate staff work together by applying their knowledge, experience, skills, and love of animals to the care of seriously ill and injured pets.
Job Type: Full-time, 10 hours shifts 4 days per week
Salary: $26.50 - $34.00 per hour
Additional Incentive: Generous fees for afterhour emergency surgeries
Allowance: $750/year for CE and license reimbursement
Referral program: $1000 for RVTs & VTS *Rates may vary. Ask hiring manager for details.

Description of duties and responsibilities (Not a complete list):
Place IVC
Pull blood & urine samples
Induce, monitor and recover patients from anesthesia for advanced imaging and surgeries on stable and critical patients
Take radiographs
Process lab samples in-house and to outside labs
Client communication for appointments, presenting estimates, and discharges
