Veterinarian, Exotics Specialist

Location: Calgary, AB

CARE Centre Animal Hospital is currently welcoming a Veterinarian with advanced training in exotics to join our team. Preference will be given to exotics-boarded or internship and/or residency-trained applicants in the field of exotic medicine. As a successful candidate, you understand the importance of building relationships with our pet parents and our support team, to provide the best care possible. VCA Canada is dedicated to your continuous learning and offers extensive in-house resources.   • A valid veterinarian license allowing practice in Canada

  • Experience in; surgical procedures, preventative care, and offering nutritional advice.

  • Dedicated to promoting team-based medicine practices

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with your colleagues, pet parents, and community

  • A passion for coaching and mentoring students along their DVM journey

  • An interest in attending conferences and networking with colleagues

  • A love for all companion animals!!

The candidate would be leading the creation and development of their ideal exotic department, supported by the emergency doctors and the different specialty services as needed. Our specialists and ER doctors are excited to expend their skills as necessary while improving our care for exotic patients.
