VCA Animal Hospitals Kennel Assistant in Anchorage, Alaska
VCA Bering Sea Animal Hospital, an AAHA accredited 3 doctor small animal practice that is open 6 days a week located at 74th & Old Seward, has a great opportunity for a Kennel technician.
At VCA Bering Sea Animal Hospital our goal is to provide the best possible experience for our patients and pet parents, by doing so we offer veterinary supervised boarding. While the pets are boarding we perform the following: Bathing, nail trims, play time and administer medications. All candidates must be able to lift 40lbs routinely and have reliable transpiration.
We are looking for 1 full-time or 1 PT Kennel Technician who has outstanding people skills and truly enjoy working with the public and animals. Shifts will include a weekend day shift.
All candidate's must be proficient in land line phone use, basic computer skills and able to work alone, as well with others. All that apply must have a friendly & helpful attitude with the ability to thrive in a solo setting is required of all who apply. Prior kennel experience a plus but not required, we are willing to train on the job.
